Documents from the Sponsors (Parents):
- Sponsor’s Original Emirates ID
- Sponsor’s Emirates ID Copy, Residence Visa Copy, & Passport Copy
- Mother’s Emirates ID Copy, Residence Visa Copy, & Passport Copy (if different from sponsor, or required for comprehensive family file)
- Arabic Birth Certificate: The official Arabic birth certificate for the newborn. (Note: Ensure this is obtained promptly after birth from the relevant health authority.)
Sponsor’s Proof of Income/Profession (Choose ONE applicable option):
- If Sponsor is an Investor/Partner:
- Valid Trade License copy
- Memorandum of Association (MOA) copy
- Establishment Card copy
- (Note: A 3000 AED Security Deposit may be required for investor/partner sponsors.)
- If Sponsor is Employed in the Private Sector:
- Labour Contract with Ministry Stamp
- (Note: Minimum monthly salary required is AED 4,000 or above)
- If Sponsor is Employed in a Free Zone:
- Salary Certificate Issued by the Free Zone Authority

- If Sponsor is Employed in Govt./Semi-Govt. Sector:

- Applicant’s Passport Copy: The newborn’s passport should be valid for at least 6 months.
- Applicant’s One Digital Photo: A recent, professional digital photo from a studio (white background, eyes open if possible).
Important Conditions & Additional Documents:
- Sponsorship File Fee: An additional fee of AED 253.15 will be applicable if the Sponsor does not have an active sponsorship file with GDRFA.
- Complex Family Situations (If Mother is the Sponsor):
- NOC (No Objection Certificate) from Father: Must be certified by Dubai Court.
- OR Father’s Death Certificate: If the father is deceased, the death certificate attested by MOFA is required.
- Attested Divorce Certificate & Custody Documents: Required in case of divorced parents.
- National ID Requirement: Applicants of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, & Iraq nationalities must provide their National ID (e.g., CNIC, Tazkira, etc.).
