Who needs a medical fitness test at Al Nahda?

Every adult applying for a new UAE residence visa or renewing an existing one must pass a government medical fitness test. The Al Nahda medical fitness center serves applicants across Dubai — employees, family-sponsored residents, domestic workers and investors — as part of the standard residency process.

How the medical fitness test works

The process is the same at every approved centre in the UAE: your application is first typed and submitted through an approved typing centre, then you visit the medical fitness center with your passport copy, entry permit or visa page and one photo. The test itself involves a blood sample and a chest X-ray. Results are sent electronically to the immigration authority, so there is nothing to collect in person.
