Sharjah City Municipality strictly prohibits heavy vehicle overnight parking in all areas unless you obtain a special permit. Consequently, this permit ensures organized parking and adherence to local regulations.
Permit Details
- Mandatory for: Heavy vehicles requiring overnight parking (12:00 AM – 6:00 AM).
- Permitted Zones: Exclusively in designated industrial areas. Furthermore, the Municipality strictly prohibits parking in other areas.
- Validity: The municipality issues the permit for 3 months from its issue date.
- Service Fees: AED 680.

Please ensure all documents are valid at the time of application:
- Vehicle Registration Card (Mulkiya)
- Company Trade License
- Tenancy Contract (for the specific industrial area where you will park the vehicle)
Application Process
- Visit: Proceed to an authorized Al Qalam Typing.
- Submit Documents: Provide all the required valid documents mentioned above.
- Processing Time: Al Qalam Typing will issue the permit within 15-20 minutes.
- Lamination: Al Qalam Typing will provide a complimentary lamination of your permit.
Important: Failure to comply with these regulations may result in AED 500 fine. Always ensure your vehicle is parked in an approved zone with a valid permit.
